In preparation for CycloneDana, Last-mile evacuation support is being extended to the vulnerable families living in coastal areas of Bahanga Block, Krushnapur, Odisha. Community Water Filters are being installed by HAI, LOCAL and Shreyas in multiple areas of Wayanad District to overcome water contamination. According to assessments conducted by WASH experts, the contaminated water supply in Wayanad poses serious health risks from waterborne bacteria and viruses. People affected by the catastrophic landslides in Wayanad deserve basic needs like drinkable water to be available at all times. We have pledged to assist them in rebuilding their lives and recovering with some semblance of normalcy.
