Celebrating the Journey of REVIVE: Heritage, Community & New Futures 🇪🇺✨

After three years of collaboration, creativity, and collective learning, the REVIVE project comes to a close — leaving behind a network of empowered young professionals, renewed cultural spaces, and a shared vision for more sustainable, inclusive, and people-centered heritage futures.

Through interdisciplinary residencies, community-driven interventions, and cross-European partnerships, REVIVE demonstrated how local heritage can become a catalyst for social connection, innovation, and meaningful regeneration. From Tržič to Turku, Cellino Attanasio to Iași, young talents worked hand-in-hand with municipalities, cultural institutions, and residents — showing that heritage is not only preserved, but lived.

This final video reflects the spirit of the project: the moments, challenges, discoveries, and communities that shaped REVIVE — and the legacy that continues beyond its official timeline.

Thank you to all partners, mentors, students, communities, and supporters who made this journey possible. The impact of REVIVE will continue to grow through the spaces activated, the methodologies developed, and the shared commitment to a future where heritage belongs to everyone.

The REVIVE Handbook: Empowering Youth-Led Regeneration of Historic Places 🇪🇺📖

We are proud to present the REVIVE Handbook — a comprehensive, practical, and future-oriented guide designed to support the revitalization of historic heritage through youth-driven innovation, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and community inclusion.

Developed within the European REVIVE project and inspired by the values of the New European Bauhaus, the handbook introduces a replicable six-step methodology for transforming neglected cultural sites into vibrant, community-centered spaces. From observation and stakeholder engagement to prototyping and impact evaluation, this framework empowers municipalities, universities, cultural institutions, and local actors to co-create sustainable and meaningful change.

Rooted in real-world experiences from Slovenia, Finland, Italy, and Romania, the publication showcases how student teams and emerging professionals — guided by mentors and local communities — brought new life to historic areas through creative experimentation, circular principles, and inclusive design.

More than a project summary, the handbook stands as a living toolbox:
✅ practical guidance and tools
✅ methods for community co-creation
✅ lessons learned & common pitfalls
✅ inspiring examples from four European pilot sites

It is a testament to a simple yet powerful principle: heritage is most alive when it belongs to everyone — especially future generations.

Shared moments from the REVIVE Final Conference in Murcia 💚

The last conference invited all Young Talents and Partners together to share the results, lessons learned, and tools developed during two years of experimenting with new ways of reviving historic towns and sites.

On the 23rd of October, we visited for a conference day with institutional welcomes, the REVIVE Handbook presentation, a keynote by urban architect José M. Ezquiaga, artistic performances, and a round table with Young Talents and Art Directors, where they shared their experiences and the impact of the experiments.

On the 24th of October, the conference continued with an internal programme dedicated to study visits and local heritage explorations in this beautiful city of Murcia.

Safe to say, reflecting together and breaking our experiences into pieces is far more valuable than we tend to believe — looking back is necessary, so we will know which way to move next.

Thank you for all Young Talents and Partners 💚

A New Life for Santo Spirito: Events and Activities in the Heart of Cellino Attanasio 🎶✨

In the historic center of Cellino Attanasio, the former Church of Santo Spirito has been reborn as a vibrant cultural hub — a place where creativity, memory, and community meet. Since the arrival of 14 young European talents through the REVIVE project, the space has transformed into Santo Spirito HUB: a home for concerts, workshops, exhibitions, and shared experiences.

From Lady Spirit: Soul and Blues to Racconti Raccolti and Ricette del Cavolo, each event breathes new life into the building and the town itself. Surrounded by a renewed garden and open to everyone, the HUB stands as a symbol of regeneration — where heritage inspires the present and connects people across generations.
