Fall is here and the cooler weather, which comes as a relief after the summer's heat, will soon turn into colder nights. For those that are less fortunate, a donation of any coats or jackets that are no longer needed can make all the difference!

Please consider donating any gently worn coats and jackets to this wonderful cause, to keep them out of landfills, and support Market Street Mission, with collection bins conveniently located at Hoffman's Supply!

🧥 We are helping Valley View Chapel collect coats for their annual coat drive to benefit Market Street Mission. Please drop off donations here at Hoffmans Supply during business hours - Monday-Saturday 7a-5p

Last night the Green Team held our final outdoor work session of the year at Harrington Park!

We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant evening, but it definitely cooled off once that sun set! Fall is right around the corner!

Members did some light weeding, and then we all spread some additional native seeds to add to the ever expanding bioswales!

Originally planted back in 2021, these swales are now in their fifth full growing season and have really come into their own! Let us know what you think next time you're at the park!

What an absolutely perfect evening we had for this year's annual Washington Township Fireworks and Green Festival! Huge thanks to our festival co-organizers Long Valley Fire Company No.1, Long Valley NJ and all of our selfless first responders who helped out and kept us all safe!

Thanks to all of our green vendors and community partners that made the Green Festival shine, and to our festival sponsors, food trucks, and township officials for their support as well! What an amazing fireworks display!

Lastly, thank you to our wonderful community for coming out and showing your love and support! We are truly blessed to live in such an amazing community and we hope you all had a fun filled evening celebrating the unofficial end of the summer with us!

The big day has finally arrived, and we hope you've all enjoyed following along with us these past two weeks as we've been hyping up tonight's event!

The weather looks to be absolutely stunning and we hope to see an all time record turnout, not only for the fireworks later tonight, but also to show your love and support for our amazing local green vendors!

In addition to all of the awesome vendors and community non-profits we have showcased so far, we'll also be joined by Alstede Farms and members from the NJ Electric Vehicle Association who will have some amazing electric and hybrid vehicles on display!

So come on out this afternoon to shop local, learn about some inspiring sustainable causes, enjoy yummy food, live music, a b**r garden(21+) and end the night with a stunning fireworks display! Parking is free, and we kick it all off at 5pm tonight!

Happy Friday Everyone! As we are now less than 24hrs until the big event, we wanted to showcase another awesome returning vendor and festival participant Cub Scout Pack 136! Stop by their booth to learn about all of the fun activities they have planned for the year and find out about how you can get involved with scouting!

This year the pack will be selling prepackaged candy, chips, cookies, and drinks as a fundraiser to support our Pack's activities for the year. Cub Scout Pack 136 Long Valley is a local organization that provides outdoor camping experiences, environmentally-conscious, service and community-based activities for our town's youth.

Scouts are taught about eco-consciousness at a young age, through learning about the Outdoor Code, Leave No Trace, ecological conservation & sustainability, and the pack participates in several conservation service projects throughout the year to give back to our town. Show them support by visiting their booth!

Today we are excited to showcase another fabulous new vendor to the Green Festival, Gabbie's Garden Flower Farm! Gabbie got her start growing and arranging beautiful custom bouquets and home-grown veggies as a way to stay busy during maternity leave, from a small roadside farm stand in town. That humble beginning has since blossomed into her small flower farm specializing in locally grown, seasonal blooms, perfect for any occasion!

Gabbie believes in the simple joy of growing something from seed and watching it flourish through every stage of its life. That same care goes into every bouquet and floral design she creates. All flowers are grown without any harsh chemical inputs or pesticides. Everything is grown from seed using sustainable growing practices prioritizing our environment and pollinators.

Visit Gabbie's booth to score some amazing floral arrangements, fresh seasonal veggies, and see what else she might have in stock! Visit her website https://www.gabbiesgarden.com/to place custom orders and be sure to follow her on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61580558605076 to see her latest offerings at her roadside stand!
