Just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped with the Smoky Mountain AIM shoot over the last two days. 18,700 targets were thrown, thousands of laughs and smiles were created, and all around a great time was had by everyone. This could not have happened without all the volunteers who put their time and money into this shoot. From concessions workers, cooks, the Dutch oven cooking team, pullers, loaders, field managers, Ms. Anne, Vicki, and those who donated money, thank you from the bottom of my heart. The money raised will pay for the shooters' entry fees for singles at the TN State shoot. Any extra will go toward entry fees at the Grand AIM in Sparta.

Day 1 of the 1st annual Smokey Mountain AIM Shoot is in the books! 💥🎯

Huge shout out to all the kids that came out to compete today! We started the morning off chilly, but it turned into beautiful skies and warm weather for a great day on the line.

Could not have asked for better looking singles targets for the first 100 down, and now we are gearing up for another 100 singles tomorrow!

Singles was followed by handicaps, and there were a lot of incredible scores and personal bests recorded today. The hard work these shooters are putting in is showing!

Our coaches are dedicated to helping each and every one of these athletes reach the goals they’ve set for themselves one target at a time. Today every field is getting work. We have shooters grinding through singles, doubles, and handicaps, all focused on improving their skills and becoming the best competitors they can be.

This sport is built on discipline, focus, determination, and hard work and these kids continue to show up ready to put in the effort. We’re not just building better shooters, we’re building confidence, responsibility, and teamwork along the way.

The work being put in today will pay off tomorrow. Keep grinding. Keep learning. Keep getting better.
