Goals of United Way Youth board:
1. To promote the creation of positive programs in the community.
2. To help improve existing programs.
3.
A group of young people from Johnson County communities that work with United Way to make sure youth have a voice in our community and they have an opportunity to make a difference. To inspire leadership in our youth.
4. To help create a more positive image of Johnson County youth.
5. To give youth the opportunity to serve on an official board and make decisions that will affect the community. Als
o, to give them an opportunity to express and enact their ideas.
6. To promote positive relationships between youth and adult leaders of Johnson County.
