Aimee is serving her AmeriCorps VISTA year with Get Healthy Utah. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Public Health. Her areas of interest include food security, nutrition, and health education, and she plans to pursue a Master of Public Health with an emphasis in nutrition. We're happy to have you join us, Aimee!

Congratulations to , who was designated as a Healthy Utah Community this spring!

Delta encourages local food access through gardening classes and promotes active living by hosting a Wild Goose Chase 5K and 10K race at its annual Snow Goose Festival. Delta also prioritizes mental well-being by offering su***de prevention training through the Central Utah Health Department.

Washington Terrace supports local food access through the adoption of a backyard poultry ordinance and promotes active living by offering low-cost youth recreation programs and expanding walkability throughout the city. Washington Terrace also prioritizes mental well-being and social connection by hosting free, family-focused events three times a year, which create opportunities for residents to come together and build a stronger sense of community.
