A place for ACAR Volunteers and those interested in what we are up to. Twenty years, lots of records made totally accessible, and on we go!

Our mission is to bring history from the dark pages of our record books to the light of an online presence. Over the last Twenty years Volunteers have allowed us to do some amazing things with Alachua County's Ancient Records. For awhile our Volunteer force was greatly diminished. We now have a dedicated group of AWESOME Volunteers. We could always use a few more... Try it, YOU might LIKE it. Your name could be in the Court Records in a Good Way!!!

Happy New Year everyone! Our volunteer transcribers are still going. Look at these numbers! The number of transcriptions done for 2024 are: 1175, and our total transcriptions to date read: 43,477

Great work Volunteers! Keep up the good work in 2025. Someone out there is always discovering the Alachua County Ancient Records and grateful for the transcriptions you do. Thank you!!
