Taking the next step forward! 📊🤝

After a successful Stakeholder Engagement this month, I am honoured to announce that I will be attending the next critical phase of the CEDAR Program - the CSO and CBO Mapping Analysis Report.

For us at MNF, this is crucial. As a national foundation working across provinces, this mapping will help strengthen our coordination, avoid duplication, and ensure that our support reaches the grassroots where it is needed most.

The Mordecai Ndlovu Foundation extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Edgar Legoale Foundation for organizing and hosting a truly spectacular and impactful Ngwathe Experience Music Festival in Parys, Free State!

Our representatives, Sizolwenkosi Mordecai Ndlovu and Foundation Associate Ms. Mapule Teletsane, were honored to be part of an extraordinary gathering that celebrated culture, youth empowerment, and community unity.

Events like these remind us of the powerful role arts, culture, and organizational collaboration play in driving social change. As a foundation rooted in Mpumalanga, participating in this festival marks an exciting milestone as we expand our vision and roll out community-building initiatives across Mpumalanga, Gauteng, and the Free State. 🌍✨

Powerful truth. 🙏🏾

In isiZulu, we say:

"Ingane ayilahlwa."
A child is never thrown away.

In the Ndlovu culture, this is not just a proverb - it is a principle.

It means:

1. Umntwana ungumntwana wethu sonke - A child belongs to all of us. Even if a child is difficult, has made mistakes, is born outside marriage, is disabled, or is struggling with drugs - you don't discard them. You correct them, you guide them, you carry them.

2. Ndlovu ayilahli sigodo sayo - The elephant (Ndlovu) never abandons its own. The Ndlovu totem teaches strength, protection, and loyalty to the family. An elephant walks with its young, never leaving them behind.

3. Ubuntu - As a CareGiver of Mzansi, you live this. The child who dropped out, the youth using substances, the young mother, the boy in trouble - they are still our children. Our job is not to judge them, but to bring them back to the fire.

That's why our work with SANCA, schools, and youth entrepreneurship matters. We don't throw away our children - we restore them.

Today we celebrate Coach Bambo! 🙌🏾🇿🇦

Proudly attending as a representative of the Foundation at the SANCA Lowveld AGM in Mbombela today.

We are honoured to be one of the stakeholders strengthening our partnership with SANCA Lowveld in the fight against substance abuse and in building resilient, healthy communities.

When we collaborate, our youth win. When our youth win, Mzansi wins.
