Saturday 7PM: Last Otaku Standing
This is a new game show, which made its debut at Bakuretsucon last year. Everyone stands in front of the room. A question is displayed which has two answers. Stand in front of the correct answer and you keep standing. Stand in front of the wrong answer, you sit down. Game continues under the Last Otaku is left standing!

Think you know those anime songs? Here is your chance to shine. Simply guess the correct anime where the song is played and work towards being the highest scoring player. BUT – you may get asked to sing the tune! This is an open event where everyone can participate.

Another guest announcement! NoN.D.E. Fanfilms will be at Bakuretsu Con! NoN.D.E. Fanfilms is an anime fan parody group, creating comedy films about anime, anime fans, and the conventions we love, based in NJ but worldwide. It's the 20th Anniversary of S.T.E.A.M.: The Movie! We'll have screenings of S.T.E.A.M. and an anniversary panel that shows the behind the scenes of the movie.

It's guest announcement time! We are excited to welcome HitherYon Games

Matthew from HitherYon Games first started learning RPG Maker during the COVID pandemic in 2020, and since then has released 5 murder mystery games commercially available for PC and console. The original Murder Is Game Over title was inspired locally, by visiting a spooky castle in Proctor, Vermont. Murder Is Game Over games have earned praise from indie game reviews, crime fiction enthusiasts, and local press alike, including the 2024 award for “Excellence in Narrative” from Boston Festival of Indie Games. Outside of developing games, Matthew is an accomplished musician, and looking forward to being at Bakuretsu Con again after more than a decade.
