Safe @ Heart, created by the Emirates Cardiac Society and AstraZeneca Gulf is a disease awareness programme, promoting awareness and prevention of the UAE’s no. 1 killer, cardiovascular disease (heart disease). It exists to provide UAE residents with valuable information, resources and support for living heart-healthy lives, to provide awareness around cholesterol screening and guidance on how to effectively live life after a heart attack.
