🇺🇸 The 2026 Flags for Heroes display at the Leigh Hudson Field of Honor will come to a close this Saturday, June 20, 2026.

We will begin lowering the flags at 9:00 AM, and sponsors who did not request to have their medallions mailed may pick them up between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

🇺🇸 The 2026 Flags for Heroes display at the Leigh Hudson Field of Honor will come to a close on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

We will begin lowering the flags at 9:00 AM, and sponsors who indicated they wanted to pick up their medallions may do so between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

If you haven't had a chance to visit the Leigh Hudson Field of Honor this year, there's still time! We encourage you to stop by before Saturday to walk among the flags, reflect on the heroes they honor, and capture a few photos of this beautiful and inspiring display.

Most importantly, we thank all of our sponsors who honored their heroes through this year's Flags for Heroes display. Your participation helps us recognize those who have made a difference in our lives and our community while supporting the service projects of the Clayton Rotary Club.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to our land sponsor, UNC Health Johnston, for once again allowing us to use this beautiful location for the Leigh Hudson Field of Honor. Their partnership helps make this inspiring tribute possible each year.

Today we celebrate a remarkable milestone as Ruth Anderson marks her 14th anniversary with the Rotary Club of Clayton! Ruth was inducted into our Club on June 14, 2012, and for more than a decade she has exemplified Rotary's spirit of service, fellowship, and leadership.

One of Ruth's lasting contributions to our Club has been sponsoring several members who have gone on to become dedicated, long-term Rotarians themselves. Through her encouragement and mentorship, she has helped strengthen our Club and ensure its continued success for years to come.

Ruth is also known for her willingness to jump in and help wherever needed. Whether it's a community service project, fundraising event, or Club activity, she consistently steps up and volunteers her time and talents to make a positive impact.

Thank you, Ruth, for 14 years of service, friendship, and commitment to the Rotary Club of Clayton and our community. We are grateful for all you do and look forward to many more years of serving alongside you!

Together, they spent time volunteering at our information table, where visitors can ask questions, get help locating sponsored flags, sponsor additional flags, or purchase official Flags for Heroes t-shirts.
