We’re delighted to share that registration is now open for individuals with disability and their families to take part in the Every1Counts Activities from June 3-6th.

All activities are free of charge, but some have limited capacity—so book early!!

This is a fantastic opportunity to try new and cutting edge activities adapted for people with all levels of ability. The Experience Village will host a range of interactive activities such as frame running, adapted surfing, para-rowing, wheelchair hurling and more!!

Spectators, including congress delegates, are also very welcome to come along, explore, and enjoy the atmosphere—no registration required.

Galway Special Olympics Young Athletes Club are delighted to be included in this fabulous showcase for the 38th Annual European Academy of Childhood-onset Disability (EACD) Congress

The 2026 theme of the congress is ‘Mol an Óige agus Tiocfaidh Siad’ – Encourage the young and they will flourish!

The Congress will be held in Galway from the 3rd - 6th of June where they will explore disability and health through a holistic lens, with a strong focus on supporting people with disabilities to flourish — not just now, but into their futures.
