After years of working with church planters, I’ve learned that some of the most repeated advice isn’t always the most helpful.

Some church planting “truths” sound good—but they can quietly cost you time, money, and momentum.

Before every outreach, every training, every service, and every act of care, there is a simple prayer:

Lord, use this for Your glory.

Open Arms International Ministries exists because we believe Jesus still changes lives. We believe the Gospel still brings hope. We believe discipleship still matters. We believe leaders can be strengthened, churches can be planted, and communities can be touched by the love of Christ.

Today, we are asking you to pray with us for open doors in the Philippines and beyond. Pray for wisdom as leaders serve. Pray for courage as the Gospel is shared. Pray for provision where there is need. Pray for hearts to be ready to receive Jesus.

We are grateful for every person who stands with this ministry in prayer.

Acts 20:28 is a powerful reminder:

The church belongs to Jesus, not us.

Our job as leaders is to faithfully feed, shepherd, and care for the people God has entrusted to us.

The flock is precious because it was purchased with His blood.
