We continuously strive to enhance and enrich the lives of youth and adults through community based programs and projects.

The inception of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc, an international, professional and humanitarian organization of over 3,000 dedicated and concerned women, represents a cadre of talents, skills and resources. TLOD was the result of the inspiration of Ozell Dean, (one of our Founders) then a major in the United States Air Force Nurses Corps, while a guest at a luncheon given by Mrs. Lyndon Baines Jo

hnson shortly after she and President Johnson moved into the White House in Washington, D.C. In attendance at the luncheon meeting were women from all over the world who had achieved distinction in the areas of finance, business, culture, the arts, humanites, education and community service. This cross section of human resources as represented by knowledge, interest and abilities, portrayed a potpourri of special talents and skills, which would be tapped for the purpose of improving society on all levels of the life cycle in all lands. The organization was founded on June 4, 1964 in Tyler, Texas. Since its founding the objectives of the organization have been expanded to include not only a focus on the youth group, but all as stated above.

Celebrating Older Americans Month is a wonderful way to honor the contributions and wisdom of our senior community members.

Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. Will County Black Diamond Chapter recently dedicated a Saturday afternoon to this cause, hosting a cookout for our adopted Senior Center. The event served as a bridge between generations, as Teens and Ladies gathered to share laughter and delicious food. It was an afternoon filled with joy, connection, and spending quality time together. 💖💙
