We are reaching out on behalf of the NC Rural Health Transformation Program for Medicaid Region 6, led by Access East to ask for a few minutes of your time and your experience by completing a survey.
This is a survey being conducted across 26 counties in eastern North Carolina (Medicaid Region 6) to better understand current strengths and needs related to health care in your community. It is for anyone who lives, works, or receives care in eastern North Carolina. You do not need insurance or a specific diagnosis to participate. This survey takes about 12 minutes, and your responses are completely anonymous. Your voice matters; every survey will be reviewed in detail and included as part of the collective findings in the region’s final report.

SPECIAL FUNDING OPPORTUNITY: We are pleased to announce a new marine debris funding opportunity is now open.

The Hurricane Response Marine Debris Removal Fund, a partnership between National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and NOAA’s Marine Debris Program, is now accepting proposals through October 21, 2026. The program will fund up to $11M for projects that remove marine debris from coastal communities in Florida, Georgia, Guam, North Carolina, and South Carolina affected by the 2023 and 2024 hurricane and typhoon seasons.
