I received a call tonight from one of my teams. This call not only was a pleasant surprise, but it was an affirmation that what we do matters to our veterans AND their families. The post below is in his own words:
"Holy Crap!!! This just hit me as I was writing my training logs for Bomber. Yesterday our boys became Montana's Class A State Football Champions, and there was a boosters club sponsored after party that we went to. This may not seem like a big deal to most, but a year ago I never would have been able to deal with people, commotion, or noise. But thanks to Dog Tag Buddies , DeDee and her staff, along with Bonnie, I attended with Bomber without a second thought. This last year has been such a journey and I just realized I did something normal for most people without any additional thoughts or concerns. Thanks to everyone who has helped me get to this point in my life. Who knew I'd ever be able to do stuff like this again."
