Quick update on backpack events this Sunday and Monday ! Curwin Circle is having there event Sunday unfortunately because last week was rained out Concerned Citizens is unable to do our 3rd or 4th year with Running Nationwide and LHAND this Sunday BUT there's going to be a lot of fun activities outside for the kids there.
CONCERNED CITIZENS OF LYNN will have backpacks and school supplies 4 to 7pm on Monday Aug 31st at the Lynn Housing ( LHAND) Community room, 10 Church st Lynn. It will be indoors so no bouncy houses for us LOL. But being in a different location it'll also open it up to more of the children in the city for those that are unable to make it to the event on Sunday. I think it's fantastic how so many different organizations have worked very hard to supply children with backpacks and school supplies and hats off to everyone who's already had their events and for all of us that are about to have our events. We are a community who cares.
