We have shows for you galore!

First: if you see one show this week SEE OURS! Love's Labour's is back on and touring to Chicago (9/18), West Lafayette (9/19), Shorewood (9/20), and DeKalb (9/21). All shows are free, message us if you need more info on our SECRET CHICAGO RENEGADE show or visit our web page for details on the other locations.

Second: if you see two shows this week...well you have choices
-for Chicago support last year's Scottish King (Carolyn Waldee) by checking out TL;DR at Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre or our amazing director from our Midsummer a few years back (also knowns as Christina Casano) whose show The F*ck House at is open now.
-for Southern Illinois, check out Lovely as a Tree at Theatre

We're a week away from partnering with Filament Theatre for Shakespeare Shenanigans and we couldn't be more excited! Artistic Director Julia Stemper and periodic tour member Olivia Jackson are teaming up to share tips, tricks, tools, and total fun for two weeks at Filament Theatre. Both our teaching artists have also worked with extensively with Filament and have crafted a summer intensive that's all about making art in all the ways. Make sure you sign up your 9-15 year old today!

Make all the plans and see all the Shakespeare (and a musical - what?)

This weekend head to Paducah, KY for Market House Theatre’s Romeo & Juliet (July 11-13)

Or head to Spring Green, WI and any number of shows running in rep at American Players Theatre, though we of course are partial to pointing you to Shakespeare, namely summer fun with A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Our last Shakespeare to share (this week) is Three of Cups production of Macbeth. OK, it doesn’t open until July 24, but get your tickets cause our very own former tour member Olivia Jackson is in it, and it’s gonna be awesome.

Looking for more music? Try Kokandy Productions production of the musical adaptation of Amelie, opening July 17.

Of course you can also find more Love’s Labour’s Lost at Nichols Park (Midsommer Flight) or a little Outsiders action in Carbondale (Carbondale Stage Co), and like a bunch of other shows too!

So see something - you know we’ll be doing the same.

Our Summer Shakespeare Tour is done, which means – while of course we’re sad – we have time to See More things with you again!

This week we’re seeing:
Because we can’t get enough of Love’s Labour’s we’re seeing Midsommer Flight’s production (this weekend they’ll be at Gross Park on Lawrence Ave-no show Friday)-FREE

We’re also seeing Iraq but Funny because we hear it’s funny at Lookingglass Theatre Company.

And finally we’re so excited to see TUTA Theatre Chicago’s White Rabbit, Red Rabbit (opening July 7)

And in Carbondale we’re looking forward to next weekend when we get to see StageCo Carbondale’s production of The Outsiders

Amazing show last night with just a few drops of rain to cool things off! Thanks to those who came for making our opening show so LOVEly!

Tonight is BARBIE NIGHT! Bring your dolls if you want to Carl Lee Park in Murphysboro for a 6PM start!

Tomorrow come in your favorite costume (ofc you want) and join us at Evergreen

And Monday-big thanks to .gardens -for helping us with a brand new venue and another 6PM start!
