Today I went to Mayo for a second nerve block test and it worked!! Based on these test, the culprit of the pain has been the nerves misfiring in the facet joints. The last year has been a painful one with some days not being able to do much of anything. I quit a job I really enjoyed because the pain was too much to bear. The next step is to get the nerves ablated, which is medical for burn them off! I am really looking forward to being in less pain, only time will tell. A special thanks to my wife in her patience with me in so much pain and to Rick Foster for bringing me to Mayo! One step at a time as we hopefully move to a less painful future!While I was up at Mayo today, I took the picture of the Plumber Building and the flag flying in the wind. I am so blessed to live so close to Mayo and I am thankful that they found a way to help get me out of pain.
