Applications are open for our 2026 In-Person Birthwerq Training by and for 2-Spirit, Trans & GNC BIPOC: Life Springs!

Gain knowledge and build care skills around pregnancy, birth as ceremony, postpartum, infant feeding, abortion, conception & fertility, miscarriage & loss, reproductive health, gender-affirming surgery recovery, navigating HRT, medical advocacy, disability justice and more!

This training is open to 2-Spirit, Trans & GNC BIPOC at no-cost to participants, with lodging and meals included. It is a 6-day retreat-style training August 15-20th in Tacoma, Washington. Our COVID precautions include daily rapid testing, HEPA air filters, herbal immune supports, antiviral nasal spray/swabs, CPC mouthwash and high-quality filtration masks are required and provided. We have limited spots available, and applications are open until June 21st.

Creating a safe and informed space for 2-Spirit, Trans & Gender non-conforming Black, Indigenous People of Color to learn about our bodies, explore the many ways we birth, and support our communities!

Join us for Lifewerq Project’s first ever Parent Connection Group! Co-create a supportive environment energetically, educationally and physically with openness for people to speak to radicalized experiences and relationship dynamics that have affected ability to parent and safety in their parenting.

This group is for 2-Spirit, Trans and Gender non-conforming BIPOC Parents including those who are Trying to Conceive (TTC), pregnant, birthed and parenting, non-gestational and parenting, solo parents, 2+ parents, adoptive parents, aunties/uncles, and grandparents ++ in the Greater Seattle and Tacoma area.

It is a 1-year program January - December 2026 with commitment to one virtual monthly meeting, engagement in an online forum and the potential for in-person gatherings.
