A force for equity joins the room.

We’re proud to announce that the Manitobans Chamber of Commerce (BMCC)—Manitoba’s leading voice for Black and newcomer entrepreneurs—is officially sponsoring Africa at the G7.

Through its commitment to advocacy, connection, elevation, and empowerment, BMCC has become a cornerstone of economic inclusion and innovation for newcomers, black communities and the diaspora in Canada.

Now, they’re bringing their deep-rooted network, entrepreneurial insight, and community-first leadership to Africa at the G7 — strengthening the bridge between Black Canadian enterprise and global opportunity.
From Winnipeg to the world, BMCC is helping ensure the economic future of Canada–Africa relations is not just talked about — it’s built inclusively, from the ground up.

Advocacy meets action.

Diaspora meets diplomacy.

Africa leads.

This isn’t just an event.

It’s a movement.

What to expect

What happens when you build a room with intention?
You don’t just get conversation.

You get clarity. Strategy. And real pathways forward.
Africa at the G7, is about building the Canada-Africa nexus — together. Driving investment, innovation and global impact with the diaspora leading the conversation.

The reception has been intentionally to feature:

🔹 Insights from senior government and policy leaders shaping what’s next
🔹 A can’t-miss fireside chat with Sola Yomi-Ajayi, CEO, America
🔹 A spotlight on investable African ventures — curated, vetted, and ready for global capital
🔹 Curated match-making & high-trust networking

This is where influence meets intention.
Where the diaspora leads.
And where the future of Canada–Africa collaboration strengthens — in real time.

No fluff. No filler. Just the people, ideas, and capital that are ready to move.

Do you know who should be in this room?
Maybe it’s YOU. Maybe it’s someone in your network.
Either way — we’re listening.

Meet Minerva Saddler - An advocate, a builder, and a voice for the overlooked, reshaping how power, policy, and capital reach the people.

For over two decades, Minerva has worked at the intersection of development, finance, and equity—leading initiatives that reimagine how policy, funding, and impact reach underserved communities.

As the Founder of Kuinua Consulting, she has built a track record of helping organizations—from grassroots to global—secure the resources and partnerships needed to scale impact where it matters most.

Minerva is also the Partnerships Lead at The ONE Campaign in Canada, a global, nonpartisan organization fighting for a more just world by demanding the investments needed to create economic opportunities and healthier lives in Africa.

What defines Minerva isn’t just strategy—it’s service.
She moves with purpose, builds with empathy, and always asks: who’s still not at the table?

At Africa at the G7, Minerva brings a voice that reminds us that inclusion is not a theme—it’s a responsibility. And that equitable investment begins with intentional design.

We are proud to have Minerva’s leadership shaping “Africa at the G7.”

Curated for Impact not Exclusivity

This isn’t about being exclusive. It’s about being intentional.

At Africa at the G7, we’re not building a massive conference.

We’re curating a space designed for trust, strategy, and long-term partnership — where the right conversations lead to real outcomes between Africa and Canada.

Every guest in the room brings something meaningful — insight, capital, lived experience, policy influence, or bold ideas.
Because when you build with intention, the possibilities multiply.

This gathering isn’t for the few.
It’s for the committed. The builders. The connectors. The partners who understand that systems change starts with who’s in the room.

This gathering is curated — not to limit who’s in the room, but to be thoughtful about how we build it.

If you’re working on something that’s shaping the future of Canada–Africa trade, investment, innovation, or community — we’d love to hear your story.

Because we know some of the most important work doesn’t always show up on stage — but it absolutely belongs in the room.

Meet L. Kpakol — A former presidential advisor turning economic vision into shared prosperity.

Few have shaped Africa’s development landscape quite like Professor Kpakol.

From advising Nigeria’s presidency to leading transformative poverty eradication programs, he has championed strategies that connect policy to people—and translate national plans into community progress.

As Chairman of the Economic Growth and Development Center, he continues to drive sustainable development across Africa by fostering collaboration between government, business, and civil society.

What makes Professor Kpakol’s voice so powerful is his clarity of purpose: Prosperity should be shared—and policy should serve people.

He’s spent his career showing that economic growth means little unless it’s inclusive, and that real strategy must reach the grassroots.
At Africa at the G7, he brings that same spirit—deep expertise, a global lens, and a commitment to outcomes that matter. He reminds us that this room isn’t just about big ideas—it’s about building trust, driving change, and moving forward together.

We’re honored to have Professor Kpakol as a guiding force on our Executive Committee.

Africa at the G7 sits at the nexus of Canada–Africa innovation.

Where partnerships become policy.
Where the future is being shaped — collaboratively, intentionally, and across continents.

In a moment where both regions are seeking bold, future-facing economic partnerships, Africa at the G7 offers a new shifted narrative:
One built on collaboration, investment, and shared prosperity.

This room isn’t for everyone.
It’s for those ready to move markets and mindsets.
