All around Rockhampton this weekend, people will be gathering to remember what Jesus did for us.

It's time to brush off your spiritual cobwebs and head to church.

For those who can't get there due to health, immobility, or remote location... here is an RCT livestream for this Sunday at 9:30AM

We were blessed this week to be joined by a team of young believers from Capernwray. May they be an encouragement to you too, as they are to us.

A great Pentecost service on the weekend. People were present from 16 different churches, (including 18 ministers) but signifying that together WE are the Church.

Notice how many got the memo about wearing red - the colour of Pentecost signifying the love of Jesus Christ between us all.

Lord pour out your Spirit on your people more and more.

This Sunday is Pentecost. Join us at St Joseph's Cathedral at 2PM for a celebration that together WE are the Church. Twenty ministers from various churches are expected. Come along and celebrate our unity in Christ. Stay and have a piece of the Church's birthday cake afterwards.

Photo from 2024 Pentecost. In the crowd you might spot your minister :)

It is with sad hearts we farewell Rev Jen and her family. We have loved them so much, and they have been an uncalculable blessing to not just Anglicans in Rocky, but to all of us in Christ.

We are delighted to soon be welcoming back the Revd Jen Hercott to Tasmania, to take up the position of Rector of the Parish of Burnie. Jen, Colin and one of their sons will be moving to Tasmania in early June. Praise God for this exciting appointment, and please pray for those they will be farewelling in Central QLD over the coming months.

Meet Sister Beryl - one of the local sisters of Mercy. She has a big heart for God's churches and God's people, and we have loved getting to know her and spending time with her over the last ten years or so.

We had a great combined Easter Sunday service with about 10 churches participating. The kids loved the Easter egg hunt on the lawn that followed. Such joy in celebrating Christ together and all that He did for us that first Easter so long ago.
