In recent days, Chairman Siddharth Balachandran, has been featured across leading UAE media, sharing perspectives on resilience, solidarity, and business continuity during a period of heightened regional attention.

His comments reflect a consistent and grounded message that the UAE’s strength lies in its stability, forward-looking leadership, and the collective responsibility of its business community to remain steady, adaptive, and aligned with national priorities.

As a council, IBPC Dubai remains committed to supporting this narrative, reinforcing confidence, enabling dialogue, and contributing constructively to the broader economic ecosystem.

When unexpected travel disruptions affected the Indian community across the UAE, IBPC Dubai rapidly activated its member-led Champions Driven Support Program, working alongside the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai to deliver round-the-clock, on-ground assistance. Mobilizing volunteers across critical support pillars, IBPC Dubai enabled swift repatriation, emergency aid, and essential services for stranded individuals, strengthened by strong community collaboration and member-led solutions, underscoring its commitment to stability, resilience, and responsible leadership in times of need.

IBPC Champions Driven Support Program – A Community in Action

When unexpected travel disruptions affected members of the Indian community across the UAE, the Indian Business & Professional Council (IBPC Dubai) activated its member-led Champions Driven Support Program—mobilizing volunteers and partners to provide immediate, on-ground assistance.

Working closely with the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai, a 24/7 task force led by Secretary General Dr. Sahitya Chaturvedi coordinated efforts across the UAE. The initiative delivered relief including repatriation support for 96 stranded Indian tourists, along with emergency assistance, medical coordination, essential medicines, accommodation, and transport for individuals across emirates.

These efforts were driven by IBPC Dubai member volunteers across key support pillars—air travel, food, medicines, accommodation, transport, and volunteer management—ensuring timely and effective support. The response was further strengthened by community organizations including BAPS Hindu Mandir, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Dubai, and other Indian community groups, reflecting strong diaspora solidarity.

IBPC Dubai acknowledges the Champions leading these efforts:
Air Travel: Vishanti Countoncar
Food: Dileep Mukundan, Sachin Joshi
Medicines: Baderuddin Panakkat, Chandrashekhar Bhatia
Transport: Sumer Singh Adhana
Accommodation: Parth Yadav
Volunteers: Anju Bhatia

These efforts reflect the ethos of the IBPC Dubai CSR Forum—promoting social responsibility, sustainability, and responsible leadership across the UAE and India.
