CORAC

CORAC Corps of Renewal and Charity (CORAC) is a grassroots organization dedicated to defending the traditional values of faith, family, and freedom.

We stand together, under God, for liberty, the basic actual human rights as enunciated in both the American Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights and, above all, the primacy of the family as the first Church and the cradle of Democracy.

🚨 You can be brilliant and still be blind. 🎯

You've crushed your goals. 💪 You've got discipline. You've persevered through impossible odds. But here's the uncomfortable truth: None of it matters if you can't read the room. 👥

Emotional intelligence isn't about feelings (sorry, HR department 😅). It's about becoming like Christ—seeing people the way Jesus saw them: with complete clarity and infinite compassion. ❤️

It's literally the difference between achieving goals and transforming worlds. 🌍

This is Episode 6: The Emotional Intelligence Edge 🎧

What you'll discover: • Why your brain literally doesn't work right without it 🧠 • The 4 core capacities that separate leaders from lone wolves 🦁 • How to stop letting your amygdala hijack your life (yes, that's real neuroscience) 🔬 • Why emotional intelligence is actually the most powerful tool you have ⚡

Listen now. Your relationships (and your brain) will thank you. 🙏✨

Learn why emotional intelligence isn't soft—it's the Christian foundation for true leadership. Discover how to see people the way Jesus did and transform your influence from achievement to world-changing impact.

You're Not Finished Yet 🚀

Remember that time you said "I'm just not a math person"? Or "I could never do that"? Yeah, about that... 🤔

What if I told you that belief is the only thing actually stopping you?

We've spent four talks building your foundation: Focus 🎯 showed you the destination. Discipline 💪 kept you on track. Perseverance 🏔️ kept you moving when the road disappeared. Adaptability 🔄 taught you to change course without losing your vision.

But here's the plot twist: None of that works if you don't believe you can actually change. ✨

And here's the thing nobody talks about—the growth you refuse to do now, you'll have to do later. And it will be infinitely harder. ⏰

So we're going deep on The Growth Mindset: how to stop accepting your current limitations as your permanent address, and start seeing them as just your current zip code. 📍

Because spoiler alert: You're not done yet. Not even close. 🌱

Join us as we explore how a fisherman became a rock, how an impulsive guy became a leader, and how you can stop being your own ceiling. 🪨➡️👑

You've been driving toward Cleveland your whole life. And you absolutely hate Cleveland.

So here's the question: Do you keep driving, or do you finally admit the GPS was wrong?

In this episode, we're exploring what happens when your best-laid plans collide with reality. When focus, discipline, and perseverance meet a map that no longer applies. You'll discover why adaptability isn't weakness—it's the only strength that actually matters. Plus: the difference between quitting and course-correcting, and why the most faithful thing you can do might be changing direction entirely.

Discover why adaptability is the missing piece in your mindset. Learn how to stay committed to your vision while having the wisdom to change your method. Episode 4 of Lectio Vitae's Mindset Series.

This week's main column cuts right to the bone: Don't Make Yourself Easy Prey for the Devil

Charlie Johnston explores the hard truths we'd rather avoid: • Why denying supernatural power doesn't protect you—it exposes you • The trap of thinking God's voice means you don't have to choose anymore • How even saints got fooled (and what that teaches the rest of us) • Why you're always—always—responsible for what you do

Tired of doom-scrolling while feeling powerless? Tired of being the only person at dinner who actually cares about what's happening?

You know that moment when you're exhausted, progress feels invisible, and everyone's telling you to quit? This is the talk that'll make you think twice before listening to them.

Here's where we're at in part 3 of Lectio Vitae - The Mindset Series: Focus shows you where you're going. Discipline keeps you on track. Perseverance is what you do when both quit on you—when your vision blurs and you're white-knuckling through the invisible grind. For years. It's basically like being stuck in airport security, except the TSA agent is your own brain.

We celebrate finished books and healed marriages. But nobody celebrates the middle part—where you're working and nothing seems to change. That's where most of us live. That's where real transformation happens. It's not glamorous. It's not Instagram-worthy. But it's real.

The hard truth: Every worthwhile pursuit has a valley. Your brain literally rewires itself there, which means you get worse before you get better. It's where almost everyone quits. Right before the breakthrough. Convenient timing, right?

Saint Monica prayed for her son Augustine for seventeen years. Seventeen years in the fog. Then he converted and became one of the greatest theologians in Christian history. Those twelve publishers who rejected J.K. Rowling? Still kicking themselves. Thomas Edison failed thousands of times before the light bulb. (The dude was committed.)

So ask yourself: Am I in the valley of despair, or am I actually on the wrong path?

If you're in the valley, quitting isn't wisdom. It's surrender dressed up as self-awareness.

Keep going. The breakthrough is closer than you think. 🙏

Discipline is choosing the hard that builds you instead of the comfort that breaks you.🎯

**Lectio Vitae – The Mindset Series | Episode 2: The Discipline Challenge

Here's what the Church knows but Instagram won't tell you: there is no easy path. Never was. And once you accept that? Everything changes.

In this episode, we're exploring the hard truth that coaches, saints, and leaders have learned the painful way—discipline isn't about willpower, it's about choosing which hard you can actually live with. Because newsflash: you're getting hardship either way. The only real choice is whether it builds you up in Christ or tears you down.

Your circumstances might not change. But your soul? That's entirely up to you.

Hosted by MP, CORAC's executive director.
