Hi!

We are StAI, Stavanger AI! Our job is to promote AI related events and activities in and around Stavanger University Campus. We are a SAiL supported student organization (and registered non-profit), which started operations earlier this year. If any of you are interested in having fun learning/teaching about AI software resources and hardware tools; and joining fully funded excursions in Norway and thus meaningfully adding more to your co-curricular resumé, please reach out to us! We have open positions on our Board, including in the presidency, and would love to have you join us.

Our first duckiebot event was a success! Thank you for great attendance and amazing work on assembling the jetbots!🤖

The next times we are starting programming and implementing AI on the duckiebots. Feel free to ask us questions, not least join the upcoming events!

The duckiebots finally arrived this week! We invited students to unbox them with us. This classroom kit is going to be used by students who want to join our workshops starting this fall.

We had our first event yesterday: AI for dummies! Approx 100 students from different study programs got a brief introduction to what AI is, where it is and future potential. We hope the event inspires the students to continue their AI journey!
