Recently, at Ellon cemetery we received from the council, a new black bin. Some kind person from the town has replaced this new bin with their cracked bin.
Could this person please take back their cracked bin and replace it with our new bin.
Many thanks.

Baby Memorial Area - please share your views

Over the years we’ve considered painting the sleepers around the memorial but to date have left them to age. Should we paint them and if so, what colour? Black, cream, soft green, yellow, lilac, something else? The options are vast - over to the people of Ellon to decide (we will go with a majority)

UPDATE: thank you everyone for your input, we will treat the wood, but leave it natural as thats the consensus.

We’re a small group who are accepting our limitations. We will continue with the weeding of the borders, beds, repainting planters & benches and general tidy ups etc, however we can no longer rake and lift the cut grass or maintain the paths.

The council are fully aware of this and will at some point spray the paths (ideally they need cleaned and fresh grit laid) and they are trying to cut the grass fortnightly. Budgets as always will affect this.

We’re always grateful for all your support and if anyone would like to help, we’re there each Monday and would welcome you to join us.
