Our online Fish Health Medicine Program is a great way for you to further develop your skillset in fish medicine! Taking this online course is another great way you can support our student scholarship fund!

Take a look at the course description below:

The goal of the Fish Health Medicine Certificate Program, developed by Dr. Mike Collins (UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine) and Dr. Myron Kebus (WI Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection), is to increase the national pool of veterinarians qualified to assist fish farmers with disease prevention and control.
Hundreds of veterinarians across the United States as well as internationally have completed this program. The course is comprised of five modules, including a five question quiz and additional resources at the end of each module, and will take approximately five to six hours to complete.
Veterinarians and veterinary students will be awarded a certificate of completion at the end of the course.

Module 1 - Introduction
Module 2 - Risk Management and Biosecurity
Module 3 - Water Quality
Module 4 - Fish Health Inspection
Module 5 - Veterinary Health Assessment of Fish

Check out the application information for a Combined Anatomic Pathology Residency and PhD with an Aquatic Animal Emphasis at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, offered in conjunction with the Georgia Aquarium! This is a five-year program that is scheduled to begin July 1, 2027 and provides extensive training in aquatic animal pathology, diagnostic pathology, and research.
