التعبيرات الإنجليزية بالعامية المصرية
هو ده الكلام = Now we're talking
يسلم فُمك = You can say that again
(قول كمان، كلامك حِكم)
شكلها هتحلو / أيوه كده = That's more like it

Get off my sight = امشي من قدّامي / اغرب عن وجهي
Get out of my way! = ابعد عن طريقي
Get off my back = حلّ عني
Get lost / be gone! = غور
Make way = وسّع
Stand aside = اركن على جنب

Pay attention = اصحى للكلام
Lend me your ears = طقطقلي ودانك
Look closely = بص كويس
Listen up = سمعة هُس
I am all ears = كلي آذان صاغية - معاك يا معلم
Mark my words = حط كلامي حلقة في ودانك

Begin anew = يكون إنسان جديد
Go back to the drawing board = يرجع من البداية
Start from scratch = يبدأ من الصفر
Note: Anew is an adverb = In a new and different way

You can bloody try = وريني هتعمل إيه
You have nothing to threaten me with = خاف يا عيد
Don't make an empty threat = لا انت ولا عشرة زيك
