📣 We're pleased to share that the results of the BREED project were presented in @Δήμος Κατερίνης - Municipality of Katerini alongside with local stakeholders and administration representatives. 📣
Practical insights were presented on implementing social economy principles and their impact on real economy and development.
🎯 Key speakers included Vassilis Limbanovnos from Economic Chamber of Central-Western Macedonia, discussed the region's economic and fiscal landscape.
🎯 Poppi Surmaidou from Σπείρα γης, shedding light on general principles and Greece's institutional framework giving also practical examples of social economy initiatives in local area.
🎯 Ilias Tsolakidis from Εθελοντική Ομάδα Δράσης Ν. Πιερίας, delved into the social structures of the Katerini Smoking Station, providing examples of sustainable development, circular economy, and community tolerance.
🎯 Anastasia-Sotiria Toufa, project manager of rounded up the presentation by highlighting the project's methodology and final results, emphasizing the value of our local action plan and guidelines for other regions.
