At just 12 years old, Edith Lee Payne participated in the Civil Rights Movement as a marcher. Her photograph, preserved in the Smithsonian Institution, serves as a testament that faith, courage, and determination are not bound by age. Today, she stands as a living testament to history and an enduring exemplar of unity and perseverance. We will remember the unidentified white man in the flyer with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with firsthand accounts provided by Ms. Edith Lee Payne and Rev. Dr. William H. Bell, Jr.
Free soul-food dinner will be provided from 1:00-2:30.

Greetings 3D Family - You are cordially invited to the 3D Women's Conference which will be held on April 24 - 26, 2025 at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel, 9801 Natural Bridge Road, St. Louis, Missouri at a rate of $119 plus tax. Early bird Registration is $175 until March 7 and $185, thereafter. Your registration includes one breakfast and one lunch. Conference begins on the evening of Thursday, April 24 with a welcome reception with Bishop and Mrs. Sylvester Williams, Sr. We will begin sessions at 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning, April 25, 2025. We would love to have as many women in attendance as possible.
