💡 Vitreusite, buğday tanesinin kesitinde görülen cam benzeri, sert ve yoğun yapıyı ifade eder.

Yüksek vitreusiteye sahip buğdaylar genellikle daha sert yapıdadır ve özellikle durum buğdayı gibi türlerde kaliteli irmik ve makarna üretimi için tercih edilir.

🔍 Bu özellik, buğdayın protein yapısı ve endosperm yoğunluğu hakkında önemli bir kalite göstergesidir.

🌾 BİLİYOR MUSUNUZ? 🌾

📊 Uluslararası Tahıl Konseyi (IGC) verilerine göre dünya genelinde buğday üretimi son yıllarda ortalama 780–800 milyon ton seviyelerinde gerçekleşmektedir.

Bu üretimin önemli bir kısmı ekmeklik un, irmik ve makarna gibi temel gıda ürünlerine dönüştürülerek küresel gıda zincirinin ana hammaddesini oluşturur.

💡 Buğday, hem üretim hacmi hem de kullanım çeşitliliği açısından dünyadaki en stratejik tarım ürünlerinden biridir.

A special moment from the 5th IAOM Eurasia Conference & Expo, held at the InterContinental Tashkent on September 28–29, 2026, celebrating friendship, cultural heritage, and cooperation between Türkiye, Uzbekistan, and the international milling community.

As a gesture of appreciation and friendship, Paşabahçe Ehl-i Nazar ceremonial gifts, beautifully crafted to reflect Türkiye’s rich cultural heritage, were presented to distinguished guests. These special gifts were warmly received and met with enthusiastic applause.

A Memorable Moment in Tashkent 🇺🇿🇹🇷🌾

A special moment from the 5th IAOM Eurasia Conference & Expo, held at the InterContinental Tashkent on September 28–29, 2026, celebrating friendship, cultural heritage, and cooperation between Türkiye, Uzbekistan, and the international milling community.

As a gesture of appreciation and friendship, traditional Uzbek chapan robes — beautifully embroidered ceremonial garments representing Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage — were presented to distinguished guests. Dr. Eren Günhan Ulusoy presented a chapan to H.E. İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Türkiye; Bekzod Muhammadamin presented one to Ahmet Güldal, Director General of the Turkish Grain Board (TMO); and Vural Kural presented one to Mike Wiechman, President of IAOM Headquarters. These special gifts were warmly received and met with enthusiastic applause.

Our sincere thanks and appreciation to BCM Corp, its management and entire team for their extra effort, dedication and commitment throughout the process. We truly value their hard work and respect for every detail.

With a short video and interview, we have also managed, at least partly, to make up for what was missing on the interview side.
