1. Cruelty case reported from Yeshwantpur, Bangalore. Today SARWA's team leader, Harsha is attending this case. Can you understand how greedy and selfish humans have become? This is the effect of your demand for milk and milk products in our society. This is a nose guard fitted on to this young cow, so that her own mother won't allow her to suckle on her and this baby cannot feed from her own mother!
2.We got the annoying thing off. But it doesn't stop there! These very dairy farmers don't stop there. They get one more installed into the same calves. Again. Because we can't file a cruelty case against them. That's how our legal system works. They are farmers. They have their rights too. Animals don't have any, because they have no votes. There are many such cases. *Demand vs supply*. That's the bottom-line. Unless the policy changes, we will keep doing this work, when reported. The only way forward is to report such cases when you come across them (and not say ayyo paapa and move on) and to stop the demand at your personal level by going vegan.

When we received a call about this boy in Konankunte with an infected horn on 29th of June 2025, we weren't sure whether we should do on spot-treatment or rescue him for regular in-house treatment. Stray bulls in Bangalore have a distance of more than 20 kms radius in which they roam about daily in search of food. It sometimes becomes impossible to track them for applying medication on a daily basis. We were left with no option, but to rescue him.
He was affectionately named Gyan and he healed completely at CUPA LAARC, Kengeri.
Gyan was released today back into his street. You can see his happy jump in the 3rd video in this series.

Blood and deep injury alert. Skip if you are sensitive.

This case of an injured cow(involving an auto hit and run) was reported to the BBMP on the 5th of Sept 2025 at Anjanapura, Kanakapura Road. After their repeated attempts at rescue failed, they called us. The joint efforts of SARWA, Maruthi Medicals and CUPA succeeded and this cow was shifted to CUPA LAARC Kengeri on 10th September 2025, where she will be treated until ready to be released.

Despite booking issues at Freedom Park due to heavy demand, we were able to get space for a small time slot of 1.5 hours tomorrow. Time - 10.30AM -12 noon
We request everyone to join us in huge numbers to make this march for our streeties a huge success.
The meeting is to solely voice our disagreement with the SC order. Please keep your personal differences on a check.
Dress code - Anything White
Be there on time, as the slot available is small. Encourage more citizens to join us.

Today again, it was hoof-cutting time at SARWA. We took up 3 cases in the vicinity of Thalaghattapura-Bannerghatta starting in the wee hours of the morning. The weather co-operated, as if blessing us. It wasn't sunny of course, but it didn't rain either! The before and after videos are proof to say that we left 3 of our majestic bulls walking much better. Water is always splashed at the end of every such 'operation' in a bid to calm down the stressed animal.
Our team went home tired, but very happy and satisfied.

Dear Donors, Patrons and Volunteers,
SARWA is holding its first fundraiser event, a dance competition (solo and group) on 19th July 2025 (Saturday)
We welcome you all to attend the event and enjoy the dance performances by various academies and troupes from all across our state.
Time - 10 AM onwards
Venue - Sri Adichunchungiri Samudaya Bhavana, Vijayanagara, Bengaluru.
Student volunteers will be given Internship certificates.

Fund raiser appeal-
SARWA received a donation of 150 sacks of fresh cucumbers each of which contains 50 kgs, from a generous donor who wishes to stay anonymous, as a part of his family Holi celebrations.
We are reaching these to the Goshalas and rescue centres in and on the outskirts of Bangalore.
This is an urgent appeal to all donors and volunteers to donate as much as you can, towards covering our diesel costs.
