a) Prize information:
• Beginning of the first series the accumulator will be seeded with $500.
• Each week 50% of the total ticket sales will be added to the Accumulator unless the
accumulator is won.
• If the envelope selected does not contain the King of Diamonds card, then the winner will
receive a consolation prize of 25% of that week
’s total ticket sales.
• If the envelope containing the King of Diamonds is chosen, then 50% of weekly sales will
be the start of the new jackpot for the next series. If another series is not scheduled, then
50% of that week’s sales will go to the charity, For the Love of Shoal Lake and 50% to
the next series when it begins. b) Ticket Information
• Tickets will be sold at $2.00 each.
• Maximum number of tickets sold per event is 10,000.
• Maximum number of tickets sold to an individual per transaction is 100.
• Individuals at the venue on the event date must go to the back of the line to purchase
more tickets if they have reached the maximum number of tickets sold per transaction. c) Event Information
• A draw will take place every Friday at 8:00 pm, starting on Friday, October 6, 2023 at
the Shoal Lake Motor Inn.
• Ticket sales will take place between 6:00pm and 7:30pm.
• Tickets will also be sold Saturday's at 12:00 noon till Thursday at 5pm from the
organization’s Facebook/website and various locations in the community. d) Draw Information
• King of Diamonds wins the accumulator.
• A live video will be taken of the event on Facebook and the website (when setup)
• A single ticket will be drawn from all the tickets sold that week.
• The winning ticket must have a clean and legible envelope selection. If the winning ticket
drawn is not legible the event staff will attempt a phone call to the winning individual to
secure an envelope selection within a 2 minute time limit. If the winning individual cannot be
contacted in this time limit, the ticket will be disqualified and a new ticket will be drawn.
• Individuals name who is drawn, if in attendance at the live event, will open previously
selected envelope # as selected when ticket was purchased. If an individual is not in
attendance then staff working the event will open previously selected # on behalf of the
winner.
• The selected card will be revealed to all in attendance and on the live stream.
• All cards drawn that are not the King of Diamonds will be posted on the display board with
the winning ticket attached to it, during the event and will remain there after the draw.
• Must be at least 18 years old to participate.
• Prior to the start of each event, all envelopes containing cards in the current deck will
be displayed on the display board for all to see. All previous winning cards for the
current series or event will be displayed on a separate display board.
• Any cards that have been damaged or marked will be immediately replaced by a new
identical card.
• A new deck of 52 cards will be used for each new series. Cards will be put in envelopes
and displayed on a display board during the event.
• If the winning ticket holder is not in attendance, they will be contacted by phone and
will be mailed a cheque of the winning amount.
• Cards will be placed in envelopes at the start of each new series and will remain in the
sealed envelopes for the entirety of the series until they are chosen off. Event
managers will place the cards in the envelopes in a manner in which no one will be
aware of where any card is located.
• Envelopes will be stored in a locked and secure area at the end of the week’s draw.
