day 7, nindigully to Gold Coast...
we made it to the finish line!

we had an absolute blast once again on the Sh*tbox Rally ...thankyou to our families for the support on our trip to and on the rally...we travelled over 7,000kms from home, to the start line in Alice Springs and then back on the spring rally route.
we got one flat tyre and blew one of the brand new front struts with the other not far behind it... that's pretty good :)

we had an awesome buddy group, had a heap of laughs and made some new friends...

once again thankyou to each and everyone that donated, and to our sponsors... without you guys we would not have been here.

🗺 Day 6 - Bourke, NSW to Nindigully, QLD

Today is all about those we’re rallying In Honour Of, as we take the time to remember who we’re doing this for, and the impact our fundraising will have for progressing cancer research for Cancer Council NSW

We’ll be stopping over in Nindigully tonight, camping along the Moonie River. It might be four houses and a pub, but the view is glorious!

Today we trekked from Silverton and made it successfully to Bourke. Some quick suspension repairs for some of the boys in our group then Plenty of unsealed roads along with a few outback pub stops.

we made it to copley... the old girl conquered the Oodnadatta track with out a flat. :)

made it to Oodnadatta.... 630pm roll in, 4th or 5th group into camp. pretty happy with that. got to catch the beautiful sunset whilst eating a wicked spread put on by the locals.

the wagz copped a heap of mud and dust, and the central locking solenoid locked us out of the running car :/ so we removed it and are driving it old school now.... with the key ;)

Nice little trip along the Oodnadatta track from Yulara to Oodnadatta. A lot of issues for some other groups that got in quite late but but made to camp in time for sunset and a beer. On to Copley today.

the morning after a huge rain storm ... came in hot and unexpected... everything and everyone got soaked... right in the middle of the field of lights Sh*tbox black tie dinner :/
Luke's Auto Glass kept the bevies chilled... even more so ;)

we made it to Yulara, only issue.... a rock that jammed itself inside the left rear rim and the shock mount... leading us to believe we had a flat, then a blown wheel bearing, then joy as phill removed it and we kept on trucking...💪
