In line with the 52nd Oman National Day Celebration, BSS held a MEDICAL CAMP for the students through the generous sponsorship and support of Badr Al Samaa Polyclinic Sohar.

Reception I to Class V pupils were given free one-to-one Pediatric consultations, while Class VI to XII were accorded free hygiene and wellness consultation respectively.

BSS CELEBRATES 52nd OMAN NATIONAL DAY ON NOVEMBER 24 IN THE SCHOOL CAMPUS.

The hearts of our students were filled with pride and happiness as Bangladesh School Sohar celebrates the 52nd National Day of Oman.

Inspired by the school’s coherent vision and everyone’s camaraderie, the event was filled with a rainbow of talents from our young boys and girls as they participated in the cultural presentation, topped with sharing Oman’s history both in English and Arabic.

It was truly a blend of fun, culture and heritage.

They left the portals of BSS after restless nights of studying, losing out on sleep stressing over exams and now racing towards their future, who wouldn’t be proud of them?

Their Journey. Their Discovery. Their Future.

On October 12, 2022, Classes XI and XII students attended Oman’s Biggest Education, Training and Career Event in Muscat.

Their first stop was at Bangladesh School Muscat and were warmly welcomed by The Honorary Principal.

Afterwards, they proceeded to Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre for the Edu TraC Oman (Higher Education Training and Career Expo), a career guidance and student counselling event sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education, where the students were provided with significant information on their career paths and future admissions from the representatives of various universities worldwide.

Then, the students had fun in the Oman Science Fair 2022, where they were exposed to research projects of various science-based institutions in Oman.

Indeed, they just did their first steps exploring the world.

Bangladesh School Sohar wishes everyone a very Happy 51st Independence Day of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

On this occasion, we pay homage to the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and pay tribute to the martyrs and valiant sons of our soil for their ultimate sacrifice.

BSS also pays humble salute and gratitude to the living heroes of the Liberation War.

Today, International Mother Language Day and National Martyrs' Day has been observed with due dignity in Bangladesh School Sohar. On this occasion, drawing and essay writing competitions were organized for the students. The program was carried out smoothly under the supervision of the Acting Principal Mr. Mohammad Abdul Kader and with the cooperation of the respected teachers.
Honorable President of the School Management Committee Mr.Shahed Ahmed Sultan inspired all concerned.

আজ যথাযথ মর্যাদায় বাংলাদেশ স্কুল সোহার আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস ও জাতীয় শহীদ দিবস উদযাপন করেছে।
এ উপলক্ষে, ছাত্র ছাত্রীদের মাঝে চিত্রাঙ্কন ও রচনা প্রতিযোগিতার আয়োজন করা হয়।
স্কুলের ভারপ্রাপ্ত অধ্যক্ষ মোহাম্মদ আবদুল কাদের এর সার্বিক ব্যবস্থাপনায় এবং শ্রদ্ধেয় শিক্ষকমন্ডলীর প্রত্যক্ষ সহযোগিতায় অনুষ্ঠান সুচারুরুপে সম্পন্ন হয়।

Bangladesh School Sohar, (BSS) observed the 51st Victory Day of Bangladesh today through elaborated program.

BSS arranged Art & Craft and Bijoy Phul competition among students.
Students were divided into different groups. Students took part in the competition with enthusiasm. The champoins from each group will be rewarded with prize.

BSS teachers briefed students about the history and background of the Victory Day and the martyrs and the valiant war heroes of the Liberation struggle.

BSS Principal (Incharge) Mr. Syeed Ashraf and all concerned teachers oversaw the competition.
BSS Managing Committee President Mr.Engineer Shahed Ahmed Sultan inspired all concerned personnel.

বাংলাদেশ স্কুল সোহার বিপুল উৎসাহ উদ্দীপনার মধ্য দিয়ে ৫১ তম বিজয় দিবস উদযাপন করেছে।

ছাত্রছাত্রীরা বিভিন্ন গ্রুপে বিভক্ত হয়ে চিত্রাঙ্কন ও বিজয় ফুল তৈরীর প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণ করেছে।এসময় শিক্ষকগণ বিজয় দিবসের ইতিহাস ও মুক্তিযুদ্ধে শহীদ এবং জীবিত জাতির শ্রেষ্ঠ সন্তান মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের অবদানের কথা ছাত্রছাত্রীদের স্মরণ করিয়ে দেন।

বিএসএস এর প্রিন্সিপাল ইনচার্জ জনাব সায়ীদ আশরাফ এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট শিক্ষকমন্ডলী চিত্রাঙ্কন ও বিজয় ফুল তৈরীর প্রতিযোগিতা তদারকি করেন।

Board of Directors of Bangladesh Schools In Oman, led by the Chairman Mr.Kazi Emdad Hossain, visited Bangladesh School Sohar(BSS) today. Mr.Shahed Ahmed Sultan, President of BSS Management Committee, welcomed them.
A bilateral meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere at the premise of BSS. Various issues has been discussed.
Members of the Management Committee & the Principal in charge were present in the meeting.
