Our Mission: More Than a Meal

It all starts with a meal. But here at Daily Bread Distribution Center (DBDC), that's just the beginning of the story. For 25 years, our mission has been to empower the people of Central Florida by providing a pathway from relief to resilience. We are built on three foundational pillars:

➤ Food Assistance: We are a vital hub, distributing an average of 1.4 million p

ounds of food every single month across 8 Central Florida counties. We ensure that families, children, and seniors have the essential nutrition they need to thrive.

➤ Community Wellness: We believe healing happens in community. Our wellness programs are designed to combat isolation, foster connection, and provide the emotional and social support that is crucial for overall well-being.

➤ Adult Learning Support: We are committed to empowerment. Through our adult learning programs, we provide our neighbors with the tools, resources, and skills they need to unlock their potential and achieve long-term self-sufficiency. Our Philosophy: Dignity, Hope & Empowerment

Yesterday marked the return of our hot meal outreach to the unhoused community, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve once again.

For our first comeback of hot meal distribution, Daily Bread Distribution Center proudly served 15 individuals with a hot meal, refreshments, and a message of hope. While the number may seem small, each person served represents a life touched with dignity, compassion, and love.

We thank our volunteers, supporters, and donors for helping make this outreach possible. Together, we are committed to continuing this mission and expanding our reach to serve even more members of our community in need.

🍽️ DBDC IS HONORED TO RESTART OUR COOKED FOOD PROGRAM FOR THE UNHOUSED COMMUNITY! ❤️

We are excited to announce that Daily Bread Distribution Center will once again be serving freshly cooked meals to our unhoused neighbors every Wednesday beginning at 10:30 AM and continuing until all meals have been distributed.
