A new semester is more than just returning to classes, completing assignments, and chasing academic achievements. It is also an opportunity to renew our intentions, make better use of our time, and continue growing into better versions of ourselves.

As students, let us make the most of this journey by seeking beneficial knowledge, fulfilling our responsibilities, taking care of our prayers, and filling our time with things that bring benefit. At the same time, let us remember that everyone has a different journey. There is no need to compare our progress with others.

May Allah bless our time, ease our journey in seeking knowledge, grant us beneficial understanding, and put barakah in every step we take towards becoming better.

Ibn Abbas (RA) reported that the Prophet (PBUH) said: “Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your illness, your wealth before your poverty, your free time before your preoccupation, and your life before your death.”
