Peace.

When praying about what is on the Father’s heart for 8:6 and his children, peace is what was brought to our spirit.

It’s been incredible once you begin praying into something, you see it everywhere. So many leaders, artists, friends- they’re leaning into this idea of knowing and understanding His perfect peace more.

For the next month, we will be diving into PEACE. What it looks like, what it means, how it relates to your identity as a child of God, tools to use peace and to keep it in your heart, and everything in between.

We pray this next month brings deeper revelation and childlike joy as walk in His PERFECT peace! 💛

“Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts. Whoever walks constantly afraid of punishment has not reached love’s perfection.” 1 John‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭

As a group we know exactly what it’s like to be paralyzed by fear. We label it as “I’m still praying through it, I’m waiting to hear from the Lord, etc”. And not that those aren’t always genuine, but a lot of times, we’re held hostage by our fear! Read on for how we are overcoming this and you can too! 💛

Fear and love. Two opposite forces that are constantly battling for our mind, our spirit and our focus.

Fear of man, fear of rejection, fear of disappointment…the list goes on and on.

But when you can truly grasp His perfect love: His unending, unchanging, perfect love, you walk in a new freedom and light.

That is when you can walk in your calling without fear of missing it. That’s when you know your assignment without worry of what others will think. That’s when you can give of yourself freely without hesitation of ever receiving it back.

Ask God for His revelation today. Pray that His perfect love would come to life in your spirit.

Invite His perfect love into your home, your parenting, your work, your calling, your hobbies, and everything in between.

Plans.

Plans are a funny thing.

As eight:::six identity, we’ve made a lot of plans. Some are spot on with the Lord’s timing, and others He redirects our steps.

This summer the Lord had us take a period of rest from doing our weekly calls and prayer. There was major transition in all three of our lives and the Father knew we needed time and space and was gracious enough to give that to us.

Even when you know it’s His timing and His direction, you can sometimes be left wondering, but what about my plans? What about the dream? The vision??? We even asked the question, was eight:::six something we birthed in our own strength?

But it wasn’t.

Holy Spirit continuously reminds us that he braided us together and that His ways are so much greater than ours. We make our plans, but He guides and establishes our steps.

So as He permits and directs, our presence on here will grow again. Not for ourselves, but for the love and kindness of Jesus to breakthrough and tear down everything until we all see our true identities in Him.

We pray that whatever plans you have in your heart, whether they’re prospering or they’ve been put on hold, do not give up and do not be discouraged! He will make a way! He will make His way!

What would we see if we saw through His eyes?
Can you imagine God looking at you and not seeing one flaw? That’s exactly what he sees!
God sees us from the beginning and how he created us to be.
We need to see ourselves this way and also others. Man can that be hard!
It’s so easy to see the flaws, ways we fail and ALL the ways people fail but let’s see through God’s eyes.
Let’s keep our eyes in the word and on Him.
What beauty we will see and find in others and ourselves.

The Lord reminded me of this song this morning and to declare its truth over my life!

I want to encourage you to do the same.

“When I only see in part, I will prophecy your promise”

Stop speaking what the world says about your situation. Stop speaking what your family and friends say over your life and circumstances.

What does the Father say? What does His written word say? What is His spoken word saying to you?

Let your words be beautiful reflections of the promises of Jesus and the amazing plans He has for you!
