32 A ki az õ tulajdon Fiának nem kedvezett, hanem õt mindnyájunkért odaadta, mimódon ne ajándékozna vele együtt mindent minékünk? 33 Kicsoda vádolja az Isten választottait? Isten az, a ki megigazít; 34 Kicsoda az, a ki kárhoztat? Krisztus az, a ki meghalt, sõt a ki fel is támadott, a ki az Isten jobbján van, a ki esedezik is érettünk: 35 Kicsoda szakaszt el minket a Krisztus szerelmétõl? nyomorúság vagy szorongattatás, vagy üldözés, vagy éhség, vagy meztelenség, vagy veszedelem, vagy fegyver-é?
36 A mint megvan írva, hogy: Te éretted gyilkoltatunk minden napon; olybá tekintenek mint vágó juhokat.

11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. 12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation. 13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick,
and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins,

11 Moje dni są jak chylący się cień, a ja usycham jak trawa.
12 Ale ty, PANIE, trwasz na wieki, a twoja pamięć z pokolenia na pokolenie. 13 Powstaniesz i zmiłujesz się nad Syjonem, bo czas, byś się nad nim zlitował, gdyż nadszedł czas wyznaczony.
14 Twoi słudzy bowiem miłują jego kamienie i litują się nad jego prochem; 15 A poganie będą się bać imienia PANA i wszyscy królowie ziemi – twojej chwały; 16 Gdy PAN odbuduje Syjon i ukaże się w swojej chwale; 17 Przychyli się do modlitwy opuszczonych i nie pogardzi ich modlitwą.
