NOMAN is an Island: Race to End HPV Since 2013 NOMAN has been challenging participants to races that requiere as much mental grit as physical strength. All for one cause: to end 5% of cancers.

HPV is the causal agent of 5% of cancer
NOMAN challenges participants to extreme endurance events to raise awareness and funds for programmes to end the suffering caused by this devastating virus. The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) causes 5% of cancers worldwide and 80% of people will come in contact with the virus. The majority of HPV-related cancers can be prevented simply by vaccinating boys and girls against this devastating virus. http://nomancampaign.org/

Midnight swells. Blistered hands. Determination that refuses to capsize. Expedition Foods fuels the NOMAN Mediterranean races with meals built for the bold. Strong on nutrition and big on taste, these freeze-dried meals keeps NOMAN rowers fired up as they cross the Mediterranean. All for one goal: to end HPV and prevent 5% of cancers worldwide.

“In my prep at home I did try a few meals and I absolutely loved the cereal with hot mango, it was great to set you up for a long session..” Sara Parfett

No other vaccine is given to only one gender.

Gender neutral vaccination programmes have greater resilience and are less stigmatised than girls-only programmes as well as being more ethical and equitable.

In April, James is taking on the London Marathon for NOMAN and the fight against HPV cancers. Amidst one of the wettest starts to the year we’ve had in a while, he’s been clocking up the miles ahead of the big day!

HPV related cancers are largely preventable through routine universal vaccination of both boys and girls. It is a simple step that protects future generations.

If you are able to, please support James and help us raise awareness and drive change. Donate by following the link in bio.
