📣 Glespin Play Park Upgrade – Have Your Say! 🛝🌳

The survey for the upgrade of Glespin Play Park is now LIVE! 🙌

This is our chance as a community to help shape the future of our park and make sure it becomes a space our children, families and future generations can enjoy for years to come. 🩵

We would really encourage everyone in Glespin and the surrounding local community to take a few minutes to complete the survey. Whether you have children, grandchildren, use the park, walk past it, or simply want to see investment and improvements in our village your opinion matters.

The more responses we receive, the stronger our community voice will be. 🗣️✨

Please complete the survey and help us by sharing this post far and wide let’s show what Glespin can do when we all get behind something! 💪

Last Wednesday we hosted a successful community consultation event for the Glespin Regeneration Project. We were joined by representatives from SOSCH (South of Scotland Community Housing) and John Gilbert Architects, who were on hand to present the proposals, explain the progress to date, and answer questions from those in attendance.

The event was well attended, with a great deal of positive and constructive feedback received throughout the evening. The overall consensus from local residents was a clear preference for Option 2, which was supported and admired for a number of reasons discussed on the night.

Next Steps

John Gilbert Architects will now finalise the feasibility report, including detailed costings. This will enable us to move forward to the next stage developing a comprehensive business plan for the project.
