I am going to try to get back on track with posting a regular feature of our club, Interview with a KPS Stamp Collector. I took some time away from this to gather interviews and also just to have material to post. Here is club member, Carol Ligda-Wong, whose photo I took back in February of this year, in preparation for this interview. Please take a minute to read Carol's answers which are posted as a set of images above.

This month we continue celebrating our nation's 250th with the fourth and last article on the "Contributor's to the Cause" series of stamps issued for the US Bicentennial. This Every Stamp Tells a Story piece is about Peter Francisco, Contributor to the Cause celebrated on Sc. no. 1562, issued in 1975. We hope you enjoy the article. This article, again, is by club member and treasurer, Dan Ondersma.

In May, at the meeting of our local stamp club, , the donation table had a box filled with old glassines of stamps from various countries. There were a substantial number of French stamps with a lot of duplication but for me this was an opportunity to fill in missing stamps in my collection and look for interesting items like these advertising labels on the selvage from booklets. I spent quite a number of nights sorting stamps, 97% of which were duplicates, but all the same I found quite a few of these to add to my collection.
