This , please remember that every terrible thing that Christ suffered, including death:

He did willingly.
He did it lovingly.
He did to save us from unimaginable misery in Hell.

He gives us our Salvation freely, asking only that we accept the sacrifice He made on our behalf.

If you haven't yet accepted Christ, here is a link to several short Bible verses. If you read them, please think about their meaning. Who would choose to die for you? Who would willingly be tortured for your benefit. Remember that God loves you. No matter what you have done in the past, no one is beyond salvation.

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 NKJV

Jesus Christ died on the cross on Good Friday so that we may have life. Read these Bible verses about the death and coming resurrection of the Savior.

George Foreman, a true Christian gentleman, has gone home to the Lord. Although he was famous as a boxer and an entrepreneur, (I personally love his grill), it was his faith and ministry that defined him and made him a truly great man. May his legacy continue as he rests in peace.
