In March, OceanX Education brought its OceanX Education Hackathon to Singapore, bringing together students, creators, scientists, and educators to spark bold ideas and unexpected collaborations around ocean exploration.

Hosted aboard the OceanXplorer, this hackathon brought together 15 students to explore new ways of advancing ocean literacy and expanding pathways into ocean careers.

Like other OceanX Education Hackathons, the Singapore session was designed to spark momentum—fueling fellowships, residencies, immersive labs, and long-term collaborations that extend far beyond the event itself.

At its core, the program works to advance ocean literacy, expand pathways into ocean careers, and deepen public connection to our blue planet.
