It is our generation’s time to Act. Join us as we build a powerful and responsive local movement of Elders 60+ , determined to take on the crucial issues of Voting Rights, Climate Change and Racial Justice. Third Act is people over the age of 60 — “experienced Americans” — determined to change the world for the better. We muster political and economic power to move Washington and Wall Street in the name of a fairer, more sustainable society and planet. We back up the great work of younger people, and we make good trouble of our own. As the fastest-growing population in America, our 60+ generation has unprecedented skills, experience and resources that we can bring to bear at this vital moment in history. The Third Act SF Bay Area working group is proud to be a regional arm of founder Bill McKibben's and ThirdAct.org national organization. We invite you to join Third Act SF Bay Area as we begin the initial stages of building our local movement. Across America we are witnessing a surge of commitment and determination from Third Actors who have joined our organization locally and nationwide and are rising up in defense of our Democracy and our planet.
Each of our individual efforts will bring an essential contribution to the Working Group as a whole. We have the knowledge, We have the skills, and We have the heart to make this Third Act the most vital and important of our lives. Never has a moment in history been more consequential, and it will take all of us, standing in this breech together, to solve it. This is Our Time. Thank You for Standing with Third Act SF Bay Area!
