Last Sunday, 50,000 people rallied on the streets of Melbourne to protest against the genocide that's happening in Gaza. We urgently need more action like this while the media won't condem the ongoing atrocities and the government actively supports the Israeli occupation. Israel’s war on Gaza and the settler attacks on the West Bank have left 6000 Palestinians dead so far. The past 2 weeks have seen the most brutal attack on Palestine in decades, with politicians in Israel celebrating the death and displacement and calling for a "second Nakba".

It is a genocide, and Australian politicians are complicit. Our government has supported Israel monetarily, militarily and politically for all 75 years of its existence, has recently sent troops into Palestine and has repeatedly defended its right to massacre.

We need to take action now. We need more passionate activists who will fight for Palestine in Australia, and call out this country's support for genocide. Sign up below to get involved with Student for Palestine at La Trobe and help build the next rally!

More than 700 Palestinians have been killed overnight in Israeli air-raids. Our government is complicit in this genocide. We need to get on the streets this weekend in bigger numbers than last.
