🚨 ARREST MADE IN CSAM INVESTIGATION 🚨

The New York State Police Troop B Computer Crime Unit and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) have arrested George B. Shimell, 29, of Plattsburgh, New York, following an investigation into the possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

Shimell was charged under Title 18, United States Code, Section 2252A(a)(5)(B) – Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with pertinent information regarding this investigation, or who may be a victim of sexual abuse, is encouraged to contact the New York State Police at 518-873-2750.

🚨 MISSING JUVENILE – PLEASE SHARE 🚨

New York State Police are asking for the public’s help locating 16-year-old Koltynne H. Wood of Plattsburgh.

Koltynne was last seen leaving her home on Shingle Street in Plattsburgh at approximately 9:00 p.m. on May 9, 2026. She was later seen again around 2:45 a.m. on May 10, 2026, on surveillance footage near State Route 22B in Morrisonville.

Police believe she may be in the wooded areas or near roadways in the surrounding area.

Koltynne is described as:
• 5’3” tall
• Approximately 100 lbs.
• Short brown hair
• Blue eyes

She was last seen wearing dark-colored pants, a light-colored top, and carrying a flashlight.

Residents in the area are asked to check security cameras, sheds, garages, wooded property, and any other areas where she may have sought shelter.

Anyone with information or possible sightings is asked to contact the New York State Police at (518) 563-3761 immediately.
