🌿✨ The GaGEN Journey Is Coming to an End – But the Impact Lives On!

Over the past three years, the GaGEN project has brought together partners, educators, older adults, and children across Europe to explore how serious games can inspire intergenerational learning and climate awareness. 💚🎮

As we reach the final stage of our initiative, we’re proud to share our key results:
1️⃣ Methodological Framework for Digital and Intergenerational-based Environmental Education
2️⃣ GaGEN Game – a digital, intergenerational game raising awareness on climate change 🌍
3️⃣ Training Pack for Facilitators – guiding educators on how to use the game effectively 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫
4️⃣ Intergenerational Learning Approach Handbook – soon to be published! 📘

These results reflect the collaboration, knowlege, and commitment of everyone involved — proving that learning and climate action truly have no age limits. 🌱💬

On October 2nd, 2025, we gathered partners and participants from across Europe to celebrate the closing of GaGEN – “Using serious games to engage cross-generations into awareness on climate change.”

We shared 3 years of results, learning, and the impact of the GaGEN game, which brought generations together to act on climate change. 🎮🌱
Across Germany, France, Portugal, Poland, and Turkey, the intergenerational approach proved its power — connecting children and older adults in dialogue about our planet’s future. 💚
