Alinsunod sa direktiba ng Department of the Interior and Local Government, sa pamamagitan ni Sec. Jonvic Remula, paiigtingin ang pagpapanatili ng kaayusan at kaligtasan sa komunidad.

Mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang pag-inom ng alak sa kalsada at iba pang pampublikong lugar. Mas paiigtingin din ang curfew para sa mga kabataan.

Hindi rin pinahihintulutan ang paglabas nang walang damit pang-itaas at ang videoke lampas alas-10 ng gabi, maliban kung may permit.

Makiisa at sumunod para sa maayos at ligtas na komunidad.

For nearly five decades, Dagupan and Iwata City, Japan have shared more than a formal agreement. We have shared trust, respect, and a lasting friendship that continues to grow stronger through the years.

This morning, as we welcomed the delegation from Iwata’s Economic and Industry Department and our partners from Infotech Professional Services, Inc., I was reminded that true sisterhood between cities is measured by the opportunities we create for our people. Every visit, every dialogue, and every exchange brings us closer to meaningful progress for Dagupeños.

I extend my sincere appreciation to Acting Mayor Bryan Kua, our city councilors, department heads led by City Legal Officer Atty. Aurora Valle & Chief of Staff Luz De Guzman, SP Secretary Ryan Ravanzo, Consultant on Arts and Culture Rex Catubig, Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager Jocelyn Siapno, Dagupan City Police Office City Director Arnold Solomon, who warmly received our Japanese guests and facilitated productive discussions focused on livelihood and overseas employment programs.

My friendship with Iwata City Mayor Kusachi Hiroaki has always been anchored on one shared belief: local governments must open doors for their citizens to thrive. Through this relationship, we continue to build bridges that connect Dagupan to global opportunities, technology, and industries that uplift lives.

From skills training to employment pathways abroad, these partnerships give our young professionals, skilled workers, and breadwinners greater chances for stable incomes and brighter futures. When our people succeed, our entire city moves forward with them.

I am pleased to share that what began nearly 50 years ago as a simple sister city bond has grown into a strong alliance built on cooperation, cultural understanding, and mutual growth.

With heartfelt gratitude, and on behalf of the people of Dagupan, I thank our friends from Iwata for their continued trust and partnership. Together, we will keep opening doors, creating jobs, and building a future where every Dagupeño can rise and succeed.

SIGNED, SEALED, SERVING THE PEOPLE ✍️🤗

I just signed yesterday a set of ordinances that move important policies from the session hall straight into real action, all guided by one clear goal: PARA SA MAS MATATAG NA PAMILYA AT MAS MAUNLAD NA LUNGSOD.

These measures focus on protecting families, empowering the youth, strengthening basic services, and keeping our city safe, orderly, and prepared. Here are the ordinances we officially put into effect:

• An Ordinance Imposing A Total Ban of The Manufacture Production of Firecrackers and Pyrotechnic Devices Within Dagupan City and strictly prohibiting the sale, distribution, display, possession, transport, and use thereof, with clear public safety standards, barangay and enforcement responsibilities, and penalties for violations. This is about keeping celebrations joyful and injury free.

• An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 2357 2025 on the regulation of vaporized ni****ne, non ni****ne, and heated to***co products, strengthening controls in youth sensitive areas, adding safeguards in business permit renewals, clarifying enforcement roles, and rolling out a phased implementation to better protect our young people.

• An Ordinance Institutionalizing A City Wide Youth Engagement, Volunteerism, and Community Attachment Program to give our youth more space to serve, lead, and stay connected with their communities.

• An Ordinance Institutionalizing The Qualification Standards, Registration, Accreditation, Performance Evaluation, Continued Service, and Retirement or Separation Incentives of Barangay Health Workers in the City of Dagupan, while strengthening the Local Health Board and ensuring due process and proper funding. Our BHWs deserve clear support and recognition.

• An Ordinance Institutionalizing a Barangay Implemented Resident, Boarder, and Transient Registration System with City Level Oversight as a public order, safety, disaster preparedness, and service planning measure, with data privacy and non discrimination safeguards in place.

• An Ordinance Creating The Ten Outstanding Policemen Award in the City of Dagupan to recognize excellence, dedication, and integrity among our police officers.

Huge thanks to our Sangguniang Panlungsod, led by Vice Mayor Bryan Kua and the New Majority Councilors, for the hard work, long hours, and shared commitment that made these measures possible. This kind of teamwork is how policies turn into progress.

These ordinances reflect one simple direction. Make policies work on the ground, protect people where it matters most, and keep building a city that looks after every Dagupeño, every day.

BAGYONG ‘UWAN’, ISA NANG SUPER TYPHOON! ⚠️🙏

Lumakas at isa nang SUPER TYPHOON Category ang bagyong ( ), ayon sa PAGASA.

Taglay na ngayon ng bagyo ang lakas ng hangin na umaabot sa 185 kph at pagbugsong umaabot na sa 230 kph. Kumikilos ang bagyo sa direksyong West Northwestward sa bilis na 25 kph.

Nakataas na ngayon ang SIGNAL NO. 3 sa Dagupan City at Signal NO. 5 naman sa , eastern portion ng , northern portion ng , at sa sa .

Asahan na sa mga nabanggit na lugar ang mapaminsalang lakas ng hangin at malalakas na ulan na dala ng bagyo.

Ibayong pag-iingat po sa lahat. 🙏

: Para malinaw po sa lahat, walang koneksyon ang LGU-Dagupan sa isang political page na “Information on Dagupan” o IOD.

Ito po ay nilikha pa noong nakaraang administrasyon at ginastusan gamit ang pera ng taumbayan bilang opisyal na "Public Information Office - Dagupan City" mula 2019 hanggang 2022.

Ang karapat-dapat po sana'y na-turnover na ito sa ating lokal na pamahalaan noong 2022, subalit hindi nangyari. Sa halip, patuloy nila itong ginagamit, hindi para maghatid ng totoong balita, kundi para manlinlang at manira, gamitin sa eleksyon at i-promote ang "obvious" na agenda ng kabilang partido. IN SHORT, IT'S POLITICS! 😬

Alam niyo po, hindi naman tama na ginastos ang buwis ng taumbayan para sa panlilinlang. Kaya’t tungkulin kong ipaalam sa inyo kung ano ang totoo. Ang mga opisyal na information pages lang ng ating lungsod ay ang Dagupan City Government - Information Office, PARMC , POSO Dagupan, at siempre po ang fb page na ito.

Mga kababayan, simple lang: maging mapanuri tayo. Huwag tayong magpapagamit sa maling impormasyon. Doon lang po tayo sa totoo, opisyal at mapagkakatiwalaang sources.

Hindi po ito tungkol sa pulitika. Ito ay tungkol sa katotohanan at tiwala ng taumbayan.
