Strengthening connections and building collaborations for the upcoming academic year

The Unified SOCMAFIL Majors Teachers’ Association joins CESBO and fellow Recognized Campus Organization Presidents during the preparatory meeting held last May 21, 2026, at the CESBO Office in preparation for Academic Year 2026–2027.

Together with the EMTG, HEERO, and SPERDS Presidents, the meeting served as an opportunity to discuss plans, align initiatives, and foster stronger coordination among student leaders in pursuit of a more organized, impactful, and student-centered academic year.

SOCMAFIL looks forward to working hand in hand with fellow organizations in creating meaningful programs and initiatives for the College of Education community 💙

CESBO and RCO Presidents Convene for Preparatory Meeting for A.Y. 2026–2027 at CESBO Office

Last May 21, 2026, the CESBO and Recognized Campus Organization (RCO) Presidents gathered at the CESBO Office for a preparatory meeting attended by the EMTG President, SOCMAFIL President, HEERO President, and SPERDS President to discuss plans and strengthen coordination for the upcoming academic year.

The meeting was presided over by Chrysler John Utlang, CESBO President, focusing on aligning initiatives, fostering collaboration, and ensuring a more organized and impactful Academic Year 2026–2027 for the College of Education student body.

𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐌𝐀𝐅𝐈𝐋 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 || Earlier today, April 24, 2026, SOCMAFIL Vice President Internal Tracy Abrogar, together with General Secretary Juane Bien and Associate Secretary Alaina Mustapha, led the initiative in dropping off collected donations at the CESBO Office designated drop box area. This effort was organized in response to the recent fire in Barangay Lapasan that occurred on April 20, 2026, affecting some fellow students and several families in the community.

Through this effort, SOCMAFIL continues to uphold its commitment to compassion, solidarity, and community engagement. In moments like these, collective support becomes essential in helping affected families begin to recover and rebuild their lives.

We encourage everyone to continue extending their support through donations in kind such as clothing, ready-to-eat food (bread, canned goods, biscuits), rice and other non-perishable items, drinking water, and hygiene essentials including soap, shampoo, toothpaste, sanitary napkins, and diapers.

🚨 𝐔𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 🚨

During the late hours of 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, a devastating fire broke out in barangay 𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧, 𝐂𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 leaving 100 homes destroyed and has left many families with nothing. Among those affected are our fellow students fromt the Collge of Education who are now in urgent need of immediate support for their daily survival.

In this time of hardship, we humbly call on your generosity. Donations in any form—such as clothing, food, hygiene items, or financial assistance will go a long way in helping them recover and rebuild.
